The campsite had well-maintained toilets and showers, which were a real relief after a long day of hiking. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town center and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Another advantage was the option to rent a tent with a comfortable bed, making camping a little more comfortable.
The lack of heating in the tent made for a freezing night's sleep. It would have been great if the campsite provided some form of heating or at least warned guests about the cold temperatures.

Set amongst shady trees, the chalets and mobile homes at this campground in Castellane felt like a tranquil oasis. The open-plan kitchenette with hot-plates in the lounge area was a convenient space for cooking up a storm and sharing delicious meals with family and friends.
Lack of proper linen.

The chalet had a lovely balcony with comfy outdoor furniture. It gave me the perfect spot to relax, enjoy my meals, and soak up the beautiful surroundings. Plus, having a private bathroom was a lifesaver!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the washing machine in the chalet. But hey, that's just me.

I chose Camping Frederic Mistral because I wanted to visit the beautiful Le Chapelle du Roc. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the campground provides complimentary wireless Internet access. I also enjoyed being able to relax and have a drink at the on-site bar.
Communication in English was difficult. Noisy nearby party at night and early check-in issue.

The value for money was excellent and the room, more like a cabin, was very comfortable with clean and fresh sheets. The location of the hotel was amazing, nestled in the heart of a charming town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The hotel breakfast could be improved with a better selection of bread and butter knives for guests to use.

I recently stayed at Camping Frederic Mistral for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The tent I rented was equipped with a comfortable bed, a lamp, and an electrical socket. The sheets were clean and fresh, giving a cozy atmosphere. The clean toilets and showers were a bonus, and I particularly appreciated the heating in the bathroom. The separate cubicles with basins provided privacy, which was a unique touch. The location of the camping was perfect, right in the heart of a charming town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this camping to friends visiting the region.
I strongly recommend this camping.

The chalet at Camping Frederic Mistral exceeded my expectations. It had a cozy seating area where I could relax after a long day of exploring. The private entrance made me feel like I truly had my own space. Plus, the balcony with outdoor furniture was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings.
Although the chalet had a washing machine, I personally prefer to have a dishwasher. But hey, that's just me!

The location of the hotel is amazing, with stunning walks around the area. The campsite itself is beautiful and peaceful. The tent lodge provides a comfortable double bed, with a lamp and sockets for convenience. The option to lock the tent and park the car nearby adds to the security and accessibility of the accommodation.
Language communication with the staff can be a challenge, especially if you don't know French.
